Privacy

Under the Personal Information Protection Act students are entitled to access their student file. The personal information collected will only be used for the purpose for which it was originally collected or for a use consistent with that purpose, unless the student consents to other use.

Program Requirements

Applicants must have a grade 12 diploma or be a mature student (aged 19 at the start of the course). A copy of their high school diploma is required if they are under the age of 19. A copy of Government-issued photo identification such as a driver's license, passport, or other, which shows their date of birth, must also be supplied. Students must complete our English & Grammar test with at least 80%. All distance learning students are required to complete a Distance Learning Assessment and have a Windows PC with high-speed Internet access.

Tuition Refund Policy

This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training. As such, PTIB did not review this program. Students may not file a claim against the Student Tuition Protection Fund in relation to this program.

Student Shipping Fees: Students who live outside of Canada and the US will be required to pay additional shipping charges for any and all equipment, books, and supplies required for their course of study. Charges will be determined on an individual basis dependent upon the students' place of residence, time of delivery and courier company. CanScribe will endeavor to ship items as economically and efficiently as possible. Note: Extra shipping & handling fees will apply for all additional products/replacements.

Students may be able to extend their program by purchasing extensions for a specific period of time, as allotted by their specific program. Please refer to the Detailed Program Curriculum for explicit information regarding extending your program, if available. Extensions are always retroactive to the student’s latest contract (or amended contract) end date.

Private Training Institutions Branch

The program of instruction outlined in this student enrolment contract does not require approval under the Private Training Act. Students may not file a claim against the Student Tuition Protection Fund with the Trustee in respect of this program of instruction. This institution is certified by the Private Training Institution Branch (PTIB). Certified institutions must comply with regulatory requirements relating to, among other things, student enrolment contracts, tuition refunds and instructor qualifications.
